Welcome to the official website of HAWA! We are a community-based organization mandated to establish a children's home for destitute children of Nairobi in Embakasi region. We are located near Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. There are approximately 120 orphan and destitute children on the mission. The High Aimers Welfare Association - HAWA Children's Home is a fully non-profit children's home run by the HAWA Family that relies on members contributions, donations and support from volunteers and workers to keep changing the lives of hundreds of children.

HAWA (High Aimers Welfare Association) strives to ensure that our community is healthy, primarily through the support of Community based and driven activities which should embrace social, cultural and particularly educational objectives.

The HAWA organization was created to work with Government and other privately owned organizations which strive to support projects in Kenya that cater to educational, social and cultural opportunities that will inspire and build positive energy in its citizens, which will in turn lead to stronger, self sufficient communities.

Children occupy more than 60% of the the Kenyan population. Therefore it is important to take the issue of putting up our kids with a lot of consideration. Our responsibility as a nation and the world at large should be to take care of all the children including orphans, street children, and any other destitute child in slums.
